  • Hello,

With Schema mark-up becoming more important, will we see improved configurability soon, or can it at least be disabled from being shown at all by Yoast, so I can set-up more comprehensive mark-up manually which is more useful to our client?

    Thanks in advance.

I guess you don’t have an automatic back-up activated you can return to? I would advise you look into UpdraftPlus.

Failing that, can you get in touch with the theme writer, or maybe look at the files on the ftp server by date modified so you can see which files have been changed.

It updated one of my sites automatically without any problems.

    Cache refresh not work?

If it helps anyone else, the Showbiz Pro Responsive Teaser WordPress Plugin is NOT vulnerable to this.

“After further research, the only FancyBox that is affected is the WordPress version. We do not include this version in ShowBiz, and instead include the jQuery (non-WordPress) version of the plugin, so ShowBiz is not affected by this issue, and you will not need to update or disable your ShowBiz plugin.”

I know mine was hacked through the Showbiz slider plug-in, which was patched pretty quickly after it became known in November… I didn’t act quickly enough on the update as all this is new to me, but fortunately I have an expert over in the USA who fixed it for me in around 6 hours.

I subscribed to WordPress Tavern and now such things arrive in my inbox so I can take quick action. Hope you get it sorted, Stephen as it is no fun.

I can recommend UpdraftPlus for back-ups so you can restore back to a clean installation fairly easily.

OK that’s good to know. I was hacked when that plug-in was vulnerable around Christmas so it is a relief to know I can re-instate it after switching it off this morning. I don’t want to go through all that again. Thanks for replying Gennady, I really do appreciate your quick response there.

I use Showbiz Pro Responsive Teaser WordPress Plugin and under source code I notice fancybox js is used. Would this be the same plug-in and does that mean the Showbiz Pro plug-in is vulnerable (again?)

And I meant to saying, using WebDav, and with a little technical support, I have been able to schedule back-ups to our enterprise Box account, which makes me feel so much better about things not going wrong…

    Thanks for replying bcworkz

    Opencart searches as:
    example.co.uk/search/index.php?route=product/search&search=(search query)

So I don’t know if that presents a problem or not, and now the requirement is to retain the ability to search the WordPress section of the site as well as search for products on the Opencart section – so there would be a separate “Search Blog” button next to a “Search Products” button.
