Not sure how to use the user role editor, unless it shows me that the original author has kept roles that I can’t see, but I can’t see any roles he has. He doesn’t seem to be a user anymore.
I just migrated the website, updates PHP to 7.3 and updated the WP version.
I have looked at the Elements, and can’t see anything I understand, except a line that seems to log me out of editor every time I click on the Main Menu pages.
I can share a screen saved image of those lines of the element, if useful.
I have updated all plug ins. Still same same.
However… Oddly…. I have found a work around… in that I can get to edit any page, by
(i) Opening WP editor
(ii) Go to Pages>All pages
(iii) Selecting the page I want
(iv) Clicking Edit that page.
(v) I can still then view that page and still, in THAT view see the WP Admin Bar at the top. (when previously only certain pages revealed the Admin Bar).
It works, but it’s a pain.
I’d really welcome any help to fix the log out problem.
