To the best of my knowledge Jomres does NOT work on multisites.

Ok, we think we understand what you’ve done, but we need you to raise a ticket at https://tickets.jomres.net so that we can log into your server and confirm. That’ll help us to fine-tune the instructions we give new installations on WP.

Jomres Core, as previously stated, is free, and is a working booking system (without all the frilly bits like creating extra properties etc). That said, the Jomres information on the WP Repo server was thoroughly vetted (as it should be) by the WP admins, so I’m confident they’ve got no problem with the business model.

Absolutely correct, you didn’t state that it had to be a WP demo, but it doesn’t matter because the frontend functionality is exactly* the same, regardless of the host CMS.

* Ok, there are some tiny differences, but not enough to mention, due to the differences between WP and Joomla.

Listen, we don’t like encoding software, it’s tricky (for you) to set up, so it’s impossible to provide a demo that you can download, play with for a while to see if you like it, then decide to purchase. If we provided you with an unencoded demo people would simply take it, use it and never pay for it (been there, done that, bought the tee shirt). This is why the Core system is free and we ask you to pay for just the plugins instead.

We’ve done the next best thing, we provide you with a working installation that you can log into and play around with. If that’s not enough for you, then I’m sorry, but you cannot seriously give this plugin one star purely because you couldn’t bother to read the information that was right in front of your face.

Jomres is a powerful system, but power comes at the cost of server resources. If you’re using a shared server then there’s a good chance that you’re fighting other hosting accounts for those resources. WordPress is very fast because it’s lightweight, so doesn’t require a fast server to run. As a result, you might not be aware of it’s limitations until you install something the size and complexity of Jomres.

Jomres doesn’t have any compatability problems with Joomla, however we encourage users to customise the system. As a result it’s not unusual for upgrades to cause issues if those same users haven’t yet adjusted to adapt their customisations to fit new requirements.

I think you’re not giving your fellow WordPress users any credit.

Please remember that Jomres’ integration into WordPress is very new, and whilst we’ve tested it as thoroughly as we can before release it’s inevitable that there will be teething problems. We trust that users like yourself will contribute their findings back to the project so that we can all benefit.

Sure, there’s a learning curve with Jomres, but then there’s a curve with any product that’s worthwhile learning. It’s impossible to build something powerful, with a lot of options, but make it ludicrously simple to use. We’ve done our best without crippling your ability to maximise it’s potential, but if there’s any way we can make it easier for you to use, we’re open to suggestions.

I found a problem with the bridge plugin this afternoon and uploaded a new version of Jomres, perhaps that fixes it for you. Can you try again please?
