You can issue long-lived tokens for your App by heading to https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and clicking Your App > Settings > Advanced

Find the line “Remove offline_access permission” and disable the setting. This will extend the life of the access tokens that allow FB to post.

Sam, is there any way to limit how many stories are posted to my Facebook Page?

I’m running a news site and publishing “all” stories simply overwhelms the people that “Like” my page and thus is spamming their timeline.

It would be really good to have a feature that allows SFC to be limited to say 15 posts to my FB page a day or so. Or a maximum of X per hour would work as well.

If this feature is already implemented, please let me know where to find it / how to do it.

Hey basdog22 – I’m using your plugin on a site with ~ 340k posts and it changed my load-time from ~ 15 sec for the homepage to 1.5sec – I have to say I’ve made some small changes to the plugin and I’ve imported my posts manually to the archive table.
