yeah, i understand, but I found the tutorial now how to do a manual backup for the plugin and asked our hosting company to restore a backup.

another strange thing is that the calendar did take the categories (just two, but anyway) from the old calendar. did the new one maybe already find the categorie-tables itself?

I got regular backups done by BackWPup, the database should be in it!

should i look for a certain file in it?

same here! after I transferred, paypal asked me if i wanted to go download the plugin, an error-message popped up and nothing more happened.
