If you put my site through GT Metrix you will see it takes 2.3 secs* to initial load

@vmarko thank you for your response, appreciate it.

I have followed your instructions and nothing has changed unfortunately.

You should make sure to remove the following wp-content files and folders:
    – cache folder (done)
    – w3tc-config folder (done)
    – object-cache.php (if exists) (done)
    – advanced-cache.php (if exists)(done)
    – db.php (if exists) (done)
    – upgrade folder (done)
    – delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists) (done)
    – Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)

(I do not use a CDN)

To complete the above, I downloaded the plugin ‘file manager’. Searched for each file and deleted it. I purged all cache with Nitro and now no new files for the cache have been created.

My page speed remains the same, so I assume nothing has changed. Any suggestions?

    Hi George,

Thanks for a quick response. I have sort of resolved it.

What i did was reinstall w3 cache (i used this prior to wp rocket) and it said that there was a file on there that shouldnt be and would i like to remove it. i clicked remove, and it kind of resolved the issue. I also unchecked an option for lazy load on w3 cache.

However, the moment i uninstall w3 the issue occurs again. its like it stores data on my site even after i remove it. any solutions to this?
