In reply to: [Custom Post Permalinks] [Plugin: Custom Post Permalinks] Archive Tempaltes?Hmmm… Off the top of my head, I can’t see anything out of the ordinary. It would help if I knew a few things about the site:
- What is the permastruct you’re entering for the post type?
- Is your site multisite? If yes is it using:
- subdomains, or
- subdirectories

In reply to: [Custom Post Permalinks] [Plugin: Custom Post Permalinks] Archive Tempaltes?This is entirely out of the scope of my plugin. The only real answer I can give to this question is “however you want.” I know Matt Wiebe at somadesign.ca had an inventive way, and I know they’re going to roll this out in a future version, but any answer for this question would be so subjective and depend on your particular site and theme, as well as the particular implementation of custom post types.

In reply to: [Custom Post Permalinks] [Plugin: Custom Post Permalinks] Custom taxonomiesHi Adorei,
I have looked into doing this before, but it requires a tremendous amount of work which I have not yet had time to commit to. If you want to submit this as a feature request, you can do so on my bug tracker at https://bugs.johnpbloch.com/. You must be registered, though registration is open to anybody (and you can use openId to register too).
Hi taeke,
I looked into this, and it’s actually a bug in the way that Custom Post Type UI registers post types. They should be registering ‘hierarchical’ as a boolean, but it’s a string instead.If anybody in charge of Custom Post Type UI sees this, it’s on line 108. If you change it to look like this:
'hierarchical' => get_disp_boolean( $cpt_post_type["hierarchical"] ),
Then everything works perfectly.

In reply to: Using year/month/day permalinks with custom post types@iamtakashi My plugin only works with non-hierarchical post types. That’s probably why you’re not seeing the extra fields.

In reply to: [Custom Post Permalinks] How to use Custom Post Permalinks plugin?You set their permalinks the same way you set regular permalinks. The settings are all on WordPress’ permalinks settings page, so all the support, explanation, how-to articles, etc. are directly linked and explained on that page. I’m happy to help if you’ve got any questions, though.
