In reply to: Admin won’t display – only broken style sheet!Try: https://creative-mills.com/wordpress/wp-login.php
It should get you back to the Admin login snd then into the dashboard.
Then I’d set both of the URL’s to https://creative-mills.com/wordpress/ (without /index.php) and see how you go from there.

In reply to: Just need some opinion here please! :)I have 5 blogs — 2 run from the root and 3 from a sub directory. They’ve been going for nearly a year and I’ve had no trouble either way. WordPress seems to be rock solid and the guys seem to stay well ahead of security issues.
My suggestion: Install it wherever you like. Then get Bad Behavior and Akismet or SK2 and enjoy your blogging…

In reply to: Posting a New Thread : HELP!!!One way might be to create a page called something like ‘Feedback’. Make sure comments for the page are turned on and then highlight the page as a menu item in either the sidebar or the header.

In reply to: Blog Roll EtiquetteHmmm! Maybe I’m on a different wave here. I was thinking (and asking) how I can delete the incoming links — the ones that show-up on the dashboard. If I’m making a fool of myself then please be kind (grin)

In reply to: Blog Roll Etiquette>>They aren’t just there for the linkage – and feel very free to delete them. No-one would mind at all ??
Podz, how do you delete them?

In reply to: A posting problem>>As far as I am aware, the ECTO dev knows of this and a solution is being sought.
True. But they think it’s a WP2.0 issue.
Regardless, this is now resolved for me as I’ve returned to 1.5.2 –Thanks

In reply to: A posting problemPodz, I have done a search but I have not found anything that I can use. I’m not a programmer, I just tinker and get myself into trouble (grin)

In reply to: A posting problemYou might be right. Any suggestions how to revert to 1.5.2. WP2 is becoming a pain I really don’t need.

In reply to: Login doesn’t stickWorks okay now, thanks! Seems I had to login one more time to set it…

In reply to: Login doesn’t stickRyan, I also want to confirm that Firefox is setup as you say and that I still have the problem. Same with Safari and Camino –all MacOSX browsers.

In reply to: Login doesn’t stickBefore upgrading to 2.0, WordPress would remember my password and I would be logged in until I cleared my cookies. Now with 2.0, I have to login fresh each time and neither Firefox nor Camino will remember my details. Cookies are saved and I have cleared them and reset everything I can think of to no avail.
BTW I can login to the Dashboard from my site without an issue.
Is this a bug??
