I’ve since uninstalled Performancing as I can’t see that much difference in using it vs the WP editor.

I mostly use ECTO https://ecto.kung-foo.tv/ — I think you can get a demo.

Maybe I don’t understand what you are looking for — the simplest way to show latest post on one page is to go to Options | Reading and change the “show at most” to 1 page.

Custom Post per Page options are part of the file and changed using a text editor..

My guess is that you have Link Categories (in the dashboard) set to random. If you Edit the Link Category you’ll see a menu item about half-way down called Sort Order.

I point Performancing to the xmlrpc.php file

eg https://whatever/wordpress/xmlrpc.php

and I use the same login details I use to access the dashboard.

Sound to me like you might NOT be using the user name and password from your config.php? But instead are using your WP login details.

That’s all I can think of. Hope it helps..

I think you are asking how to change you email address in WP. If that’s the case then login to the Dashboard and go to Users. All your details are there…

All I did was create a “page template” that shows only ‘Post Excerpts’

I then post a link to the thumb in the Optional Excerpt area (which is in the Write Post section of the Dashboard)

If you are using WP2 go to the “Edit Page” screen and on the right hand side down near the bottom is a menu item called “Page Order” Pages are by default given a value of Zero. So by giving all your pages a number 1,2,3,4,5 etc you can order them as you’d like.

It worked for one of my blogs. No issues.
