I think it may have to do with sites that have been using older versions of ACGA and are running newer or latest version now.

We have ACGA running on sites with these settings for dashboard: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b8x88zv2vbsts5t/Screen%20Shot%202019-03-07%20at%2010.18.33%20AM.png?dl=0

To replicate issue, put all of your dashboard widgets in one column. And make sure the ACGA plugin is active. When we do this, we cannot drag widgets to the second or third or fourth column. The empty ones are gone.

When we de-activate ACGA it shows all of the empty panels and allows you to use them all. When you re-activate ACGA it hides all of the empty ones and doesn’t allow you to use them. You can only use panels that you had widgets in when it was inactive. This is a problem because any new user accounts we create while ACGA is active are only able to use the first column for their dashboard widgets.

Happy to provide a WP login to a site if there is a way to send it to you privately. Let me know.

I found a JS file in my theme sub-folder that had the mentioned IP address for mobile devices. Once I changed that line to reference the correct local CSS file, it seemed to solve the problem. I’m not sure how it got like that but all seems well now. Thanks.

This is the .htaccess file I’m currently using. I tried simplifying it to the basic WP htaccess file but it did not seem to make a difference. I will try calling my web host and see if they have any suggestions.

Wow, thanks so much! That did the trick. I don’t quite understand why that is designed that way, but glad there is a 2+ year old plugin that seems to solve the issue. Thank you!

Yes, gone in the editor, gone on the actual page and gone if you leave the page and come back. If you then log in as a super-admin and go to the page it’s gone too. The only way to get it back is to then re-add the code as a super-admin and press save or restore from an older version (as a super-admin) where the code was present.

Thanks so much! I made some tweaks to the css and all is working now!

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

Update: I figured out the problem was that I didn’t have any of the pages set to have a parent page. So there was no page structure to display. Whoops! Issue resolved. Thanks.

Is there any other way to test this? I moved a TEXT widget into the sidebar and that seems to show up. So it may be isolated to Subpages Extended, does that help?

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

    (@johnnyflash)

    Absolutely.

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

    (@johnnyflash)

Yes, they are active and configured in both.

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

    (@johnnyflash)

The test site is viewable at https://www.chantillysports.com

    The sub-site I’ve been testing is https://www.chantillysports.com/children/

You’ll notice the widgets in the header and footer do not show-up in the sub-site.

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

    (@johnnyflash)

That did the trick! You are awesome! Thanks!

This is my .htaccess file, see anything unusual?

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ – [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

    Thread Starter johnnyflash

    (@johnnyflash)

Sorry for the confusion. You’re right, I had it backwards. I’ll check the .htaccess file. How would I do the redirects in WP without using a redirect plug-in? Some of the redirects are to internal pages and others are to outside addresses. Thanks in advance.
