I have just filled in your form. It would not let me put Free Version in the option box so I just selected the top one

    I hope that makes sense

Sorry my typo, I am using 2.4.2 and it didn’t fix the problem. Nothing appeared to change

Please look at https://www.lnwrs/shop Test auctions at bottom of page. Entering a bid takes you immediately to an empty basket page, going back to the item page and clicking on the bid button brings up a message to log in or register, with no clue as to how this can be done. Interestingly, clicking on the Add to wish list does bring up a button that takes you to the login/register page.

Your ticket system only seems cover the pro version, not the free one, Can I still use it?

We would like to move to the Pro version but not until I can see it works!

I am using the version you sent me 4.2.2. I tried 4.2.8 but the auction option didn’t show up under WooCommerce on my dashboard or in the add product page so have gone back to 4.2.2. Which version should I use, please?

I have now added your plugin to our public website. It still doesn’t work as expected. There appears to be no link to registering to make a bid. Trying to do so takes people to the basket!

Unlike our member’s only site, you can see this one

Yes, That is what I said at the start, normal WooCommerce sales work perfectly. But auction items don’t. I have downloaded and installed your update and tested is again and the “Pay Now” button on the email sent to purchaser does not go to the item although that might be because it is a private site, it obviously goes to our login screen. Even if you log in first it still goes to a basket with the words “Your Basket is Empty” The same applies if the winning bidder is logged in and goes to the item and clicks the “pay Now” button. Clearly the plugin is not putting the item in the basket

Thank you for your message and the updated plugin. I presume the updated plugin will add the Woo blocks that I found were needed to make it work for auction items. Note that without any modification, WooCoomerce worked correctly for all other sale items

I am not sure that I can test the update since I had already resolved the issue by adding extra Woo blocks to the pages. I will try to test the system again and report back in a couple of days.

Thanks again for taking my report seriously

Thank you for your response . Your contact form only seems to relate to the Pro version-something we are thinking of moving to once we can see it all works

We have two sites and to date only Member only site has any auction items listed

Firstly I don’t think you can check this site because it is covered by a log in system, No pages, other than the registration and log in ones are visible .

    But to answer your questions

Everything is up to date with the latest versions

The Checkout page is there and everything works as expected with a normal sale. The issue only occurs with an auction item. Emails are sent to the winning bidder with a Pay Now link, and the item is shown on the website to the logged in buyer with a Pay Now button. In both cases it takes them to the Basket page and says it is empty

I have tried deactivating all plugins (except WooCommerce and Ultimate Auction) and the problem was still there

I think the WooCommerce status points to the problem; Here is the section

    WooCommerce pagesShop base:#410 – /shop/

Basket:?Page does not contain the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode or the woocommerce/cart block.

Checkout:?Page does not contain the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode or the woocommerce/checkout block.

    My account:#413 – /my-account/Terms and conditions:?Page not set

The pages were set up by the plugin when I installed it so what have I missed? As I said the normal WooCommerce sales Basket and Checkout work perfectly, it is just auction one where there is an issue

The Basket page already included “Woo Cart Tools” . The Checkout page includes a Woo checkout block. I have since added more Woo blocks and that appears to have resolved the issue.

This leaves me wondering if we should look elsewhere for an auction plugin for the two websites. Am I likely to have similar issues if we pay for the pro version? Until I downloaded the auction plugin we have been very happy with the way our online shops work. I should mention that as standard, the auction bidding box simply didn’t work as expected. There was no way it would accept a figure typed into the box. I did a search on that and found some css code that solves the issue.
