In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] Help setting things up – Donate button not showing up?The plugin is structured around the ideas of Causes and Campaigns, for a larger user base, so if you want just one campaign, then yes, you need to first create the cause and then create a campaign from that cause.
As far as shortcodes working outside of the cause/campaign pages, it would require a decent rework of the plugin. It could be done, but it wasn’t how the plugin was designed or intended.

In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] Personal Fundraiser Fields Not UpdatingDid you add the shortcodes for those fields to your cause?
The only way the fields will show up is if you add them to the cause.

In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] PayPal donations not crediting campaignA couple of questions:
- What version of WordPress and the plugin are you using?
- Do you have Pretty Permalinks setup? This plugin requires the use of Pretty Permalinks. For more details see: Using_Permalinks
- When you return from Paypal, what is the url paypal redirects to?

In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] Help setting things up – Donate button not showing up?The [pfund-edit] and [pfund-donate] shortcodes only work on the cause/campaign pages. The only shortcodes that will work on other pages are the ones listed on the campaign page in the admin dashboard.
If you are using the require approval functionality, you will need to collect an email address from the user so that personal fundraiser knows where to send emails to. You can collect an email address by doing the following:
- Create a new personal fundraiser field of type user email. This field type will automatically pull in the user email if they are logged in. If the user is not logged in, the field will be blank.
- Copy that shortcode to the cause and put it in a hidden html section. For example, if the field is called email, edit the cause, click on Text on the editor and then put the following in the editor:
<!-- [pfund-email] -->

In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] Unable to Create CampaignIt appears that there is an issue with the Personal Fundraiser plugin in WordPress 3.7 (and possibly 3.6). I am looking into it and will hopefully release a fix soon.

In reply to: [Personal Fundraiser] Is Mailchimp Still Not WorkingYou can send regular emails by turning off the mailchimp setting. Doing so will just send regular unstyled emails (just like the ones that come from WordPress for things like reset password).
