I am running out many blogs and most of them are updated to the newer version.. I never got this problem.. it seems that any plugin which deals with the Categories directly or indirectly causes this error! or it might be 3.0 bug.. why don;t you update the wordpress to the newer version..

It was my mistake…

I clicked on “Set Featured Image” OKAY
I added photo OKAY
Now what I was making mistake is:
I was clicking on the “Insert Into Post” button instead of “Featured Image” link..

It’s displaying like charm!!

On the includes/function.php
I found the function promoslider_display_image($values)

but I don’t see any call to action of this function.. may be you forgot?

NO,
I add image via “Set Featured Image” bottom right side of the promotion page..

After adding the image the URL goes in the editor and I can also see that image if I open the post itself..

But it’s not displaying the image into the slider..

Woodent, if the plugin is not compatible with latest version of wordpress? or do you think I am missing something…

Ahh, I have missed wp_footer() in my custom theme, after putting this I can see the navigation stuff nit still not see the featured image..

Hi,

I just installed your plugin:

Promotion Slider Version 3.2.3

and I have WordPress:

Version 3.0.5

I am inserting the slider with this code:

<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[promoslider id=”home_promotion”]’); ?>

I have 2 promotions with featured image (described as above) but it only shows the last promotion title with blank screen.

ANY IDEA?

I appologise! but it’s seems that It’s likely the problem of “uploads” folder/directory not anything else. double check you have uploads directory in wp-content wp-content/uploads and set permission to 0777.
