I just started testing this plugin and had the same issue. But it clearup and now works fine after I went to Settings/Permalinks and clicked SAVE.

This is a false positive. Your host should know better.

shortcode-exec worked for me, but I did have to alter my code a bit; supplied some global variables for one thing. Minor adjustments.

a bit more info: Not only would the member’s private page show him the stream, but this would also give him the ability to download it and run it on his own site.

The stream will run only on nozzl.com and on the page URL the subscriber/member enters on our form.

When/if he cancels, that notification would alert us to “turn off” access to that stream on his site. That connection to our database would be manual at first, but eventually I hope to code a cancellation to the stream engine’s API …

I’d use a good theme that gives you a lot or control over widgets, like Atahualpa.

What the widget breaks is the jquery animations. The workaround is to Enable Accessibility Mode. See earlier post by SimonBugler for a _GET way to turn that on.

Before I saw Simon’s shortcut, I did it the same thing another way. I turned on accessibility from the Screen Options. HOWEVER! that too is a jquery pulldown, and thus broken. Before I saw the URL workaround, I did it this way:

• Disable the plugin.
• On widgets page, now you can pull down the Screen Options.
• Click Enable Accessibility Mode
• Re-enable the plugin

Now you can add content to the widgets using the non-jquery drag-and-drop method.

Thanks! I’m already using that widely. What I need to do here is have a different template for two pages, where we want the header image only and not the menu, social links, etc.

In my previous Atahualpa version (3.6.4) I could accomplish this in the header by surrounding some of the items (%pages% for example) with a php if is_front_page condition …

Atahualpa allows for special widget areas … and their help forum is full of ideas for doing things like this … the link to their forum is near the top of their options page.

Hard to believe there’s no answer to this reasonable question.

I figured it out … pulled other plugins and reinstalled.

The answer, since WordPress is so lame about it, is to put your e-commerce outdice the WordPress environment, separate pages that can be secured. This is idiotic, but after a week of trying every tip, hack, plugin available from this site and many others, I have found nothing that works simply and efficiently with WordPress.

I I even find a solution, I will post it here.
