We found a fix. If you enable two factor authentication for Google G-Suite all you have to do is click on “Grant permission with Google” under the Actions Column in the Postman SMTP Settings. This will fix any issues and allow you to send a successful test email.

The new Post SMTP plugin works great! It automatically retained all my settings from the old Postman SMTP plugin. I have Google G-Suite for email so all I had to do is go to the settings for the Post SMTP plugin and click on “Grant permission with Google” under the Actions column. Once I did this I was able to send a test email with no problem.

If I download this plugin and install it, will it override the old Postman SMTP plugin and retain all my settings/configurations? Or is this a completely separate plugin that will need to be setup/configured?

Hello @davedunn I would definitely be interested in your plugin version. I would actually prefer to pay for an annual subscription like what Mail Bank offers instead of a free plugin version. This way we do not have to worry about developers losing interest and the plugin falling by the wayside like what happened to Postman SMTP and other free mail plugins.

When I click on the link that you provided I see a green clone or download button. I went ahead and downloaded the zip file. Now if I go to my dashboard/plugins page do I click on the add new button and upload the zip file that way? Will that override the existing Postman SMTP plugin? Or do I need to apply the contents of this zip file another way?

Thank you for the response. I went to the Simple History settings and under the debug tab it shows the following installed plugins. I’ll go ahead and post the list, maybe you can tell which one is causing the deleted jobs and the deleted sent emails.
