In reply to: [Shopping Cart & eCommerce Store] DO NOT BOTHERI had to reply to this. I’ve been using wp easycart for a year now – premium version, and it’s awesome. I will never use woo ever again. There’s no hidden gimmick here at all as this commenter suggests.

In reply to: [Ultimate FAQ Accordion Plugin] Free plugin money grabSure. I simply click “FAQs” on the main WordPress dashboard nav menu, and instead of being taken to a list of FAQS, I’m on a sales-like “Dashboard” that blasts me with “Upgrade” and “What People Are Saying” and a bunch of other useless bloat. I just want to manage and add FAQs. Honestly, when I first activated the pugin and wanted to add FAQs, I didn’t easily know how to do that. I’ve been working WordPress since 2003. I’ve used this plugin before but never commented until now. Seriously, if I decide I want to do more with your plugin, I will explore on MY terms, not yours. A good plugin is one that does what it says first and foremost, and doesn’t pestor you to BUY BUY BUY before you have a chance to kick the tires. Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Super Hero Slider - WordPress slider plugin] missing documentationThank you for the quick reply. I revised it to 3 stars to be fairer. You are correct, 1 star wasn’t fair, and I apologize. However, use instructions are still very important. I wasted a lot of time trying to “use” this plugin and all you had to do was display a shortcode somewhere instead of linking off to your site. Any good plugin does this.

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Syntax Error /includes/general.phpFYI… they updated the PHP version to 5.6.29 right away and all is fine now. Thanks again for the help.

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Syntax Error /includes/general.php@sc0ttkclark, you were right on. I couldn’t activate the plugin to check there, so I added the file with “phpinfo()” instead. Shows it’s actually 5.2.17. I will notify the host.
Thank you all!

In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Syntax Error /includes/general.phpI have the same problem, however my PHP version is 5.6.29 on Bluehost.com. I deleted and reinstalled Pods 2.6.9 and I still cannot re-activate Pods without this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home2/piriroch/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pods/includes/general.php on line 1002
Thoughts?
Sorry if you are offended. I don’t like repeating myself over and over again. Also, you are trying to sell a product so criticism and customer service comes with that, correct? Your question about the step by step can be answered in the very first post on this thread in my screencast: https://screencast.com/t/O6mFDVGee6. Here I showed and discussed in full detail what the problem is.
Here is a screenshot of the setting within your plugin: https://screencast.com/t/S8vvBgu7hSbC
Your time is appreciated, know that.
Please don’t post publically that the problem is solved when it is clearly not. The problem is still there. I need to have bidders register first before they can bid. Your plugin has that option but it doesn’t work. All you did to “fix” my problem was disable the following setting:
Allow users to bid:
1. Only if they are logged in
2. Without login as wellIf I enable the “Register First” setting, and they try to bid anyway, they get an Error 404 page – the original problem. They should be redirected to register instead.

In reply to: [Ultimate Wordpress Auction Plugin] Author fixed as promisedWe’ve conversed via email twice, August 5th and August 8th. Nieht time you replied to me. I gave you my login info and never heard back. I’m willing to take you up on your offer to fix this problem so once I’m done here, I will email you privately again.
This problem is NOT resolved but the author will not communicate with me at all and I don’t know why. He asked for admin access, granted it privately and never heard from him again even after repeated attempts to reach him. This is poor support for someone trying to sell a PRO version upgrade. 1 Star from me and now I have to look for something else.
I deactivated all plugins and switched over to default 2015 theme and this problem is still there. Please advise. I have not heard back from you.
@esmi, Thank you but I didn’t send it via the forums. I sent it privately between me an the plugin author.
Yes, thank you. I will forward you admin login info as well to test.
