In reply to: Adding login/logout to thte menuThank you t-p,
Well that was easy, and much more clever than the function.
But I use a very advanced theme and no matter how much I try to integrate the, yet very simple, MU Theme login, it doesn’t work for my theme.
I’ve tried it out on other themes with success, so it has to do with the theme for sure.
What I’ve done instead, is to add a costume link to the menu, but only to login.
Could anyone please tell me if it’s possible to program a costume link to work as BOTH login and logout?
Once again t-p, thank you for your help ??
Regards,
MichaelVladimir,
It didn’t work out the way expected.
The “Editor” now can’t post at all.Michael ??
Vladimir,
Thank you for a very quick response.
I will try the settings right away and see what happens.I come back with the result in a couple of days.
Best regards
MichaelHi Vladimir,
What a great plugin.
I have a problem you might be able to help me to solve.
I have an author who post automatically to my blog. To do this he needs to be an “editor” (don’t ask me why, but so it is..).
But since I would like to make some small changes to his postings, I would like his article to be uploaded as drafts.
How do I edit (using your plugin) the editor role so that it can’t publish but only saving to draft, but still keep all the other attributions of an editor?
Thank you in advance,
MichaelI have the same problem…

In reply to: Widget ProblemThe widget thing and the rss thing is NOT connected.
I managed to solve the rss error and it didn’t solve the widgets thing. An other strange thing that has happened is, that when I add a custom field and click the button, the field get added but it doesn’t become visible until I update the post. If I delete it again, it disappears right away as it should.
So far I haven’t noticed other problems than that.

The host claim it is a password protected file, but I try ask them again.
Maybe I get an other person that knows more than the last one ?? ??I will return with the result.
Thank you for helping ??

If you have the same ‘problem’, feel free to contact me, as it is a little problematic for me to write the explanation here.

In reply to: Widget ProblemHi esmi,
Thank you so much for keep trying to help me.
Actually i have just been told (yesterday) that my rss feed was corrupted too.
I have worked all day yesterday and up until now to get hold on that problem – and with some luck…
But, and perhaps you can help me with that too, of some reason when you try to subscribe to the feed, you are asked to log in ?!?
I’ve tried to ask HostGator if it had to do with some server settings, and it seems not to be the case.
It seems that some file has been password protected (I can access the feed if I’m logged in (Admin or subscriber doesn’t matters))
Could the two cases be connected?
I’m pretty desperate about the not working rss, so I open an other thread on this too, just in case you have no input on this.
Once again, thank you for your efforts.
