I’m desperate, because I did what Anat says and the problem persists. And shouldn’t any new users be created in the first place?

Oops, I forgot to mention that it’s not the default template I’m talking about, but a template based on what I previously used with 1.2.

No, it didn’t work for me. I’ve imported MT entries three times (on three different blogs) and every time it did exactly what I described above.

Where do I find the month array in 1.2? There’s no wp-config-extra I’m afraid.

You are right, it was the problem with encryption. I copied the string and it works now.
