You’d need to set the targets on a post by post basis, so when you published a post in the music category, you’d have to check off the music facebook target. But it absolutely possible.

This ip address and directory should not affect anything. As long as your site answers to your domain, that is all facebook is checking for.

Basically if your domain were:

https://www.mydomain.com

the site url entry would be.

https://www.mydomain.com

and the app domains entry would be

mydomain.com

When the images fail to post, is sharepress set to share immediately when the post goes live? Or is it scheduled separately?

I have a hunch that sharepress could post to facebook before the wordpress blog is available, resulting in inconsistent crawling. This could be tested by using the global delay settings in the sharepress settings.

Which version of wordpress are you using?

If it was wp-filebase. We had someone else with the same issue. The latest update fixes that.
