In reply to: WordPress manual in print (pdf?)Hi all,
this is a subset of Codex – contains what most people need. (Hackers and pros generally don’t need manuals: they read code ?? ) Some images *are* missing, but the text about those topics should suffice. Whatever is in this is latest released stuff on Codex.
Its the *latest* snapshot of Codex (20-Oct-2006):
https://www.filefactory.com/file/73f9e0/You’ll get a *whole lot* of ads on that page and a link; search “Download for free with FileFactory Basic”. That takes you to another page with still more ads. ITS NOT a malicious site – filefactory is just recovering their costs; search “Click here to begin your download”. That starts a normal browser download of the zip file.

In reply to: WordPress manual in print (pdf?)hi all,
at the moment (see POSTED: ….), there is one place that the manual can be downloaded. It is *very* out of date, but nevertheless, soemkind of a starting point.
I dont know whether the absence of a wordpress manual plugin is an unfortunate mistake or a deliberate effort, but i can say that an updatable manual willbe of *tremendous* help to all of us.So right now use this, while i see if i can help in any way:
