In reply to: [AddFunc Head & Footer Code] Error 403Try uninstalling AddFunc Head & Footer Code and reinstalling it. You shouldn’t loose any of the values you’ve saved, but just to be save, copy the site-wide codes to a text file on your computer.
Let me know if that works or not.

In reply to: [AddFunc Head & Footer Code] Lowering metabox priority?Hm, good suggestion. I’ll most likely do that in the next release, unless anyone wants to cast a vote that I don’t do that. Just reply to this support thread if you have an opinion on it. Otherwise, I’ll set it to low or possibly a middle ground.
Thanks @enfueggo !

In reply to: [AddFunc Head & Footer Code] Simple but Excellent PluginCheers! Thank you for your review!
Thank you for this suggestion and tip! I had to do a little more than that, as leaving the custom field filled in would then cause the Head & Footer Code meta box to repopulate, so you’d have to delete if from the custom field as well, which would be a nuisance and would confuse most people. So I had to make it so AddFunc Head & Footer Code not only doesn’t save but DELETES its fields when empty. Fortunately, that means if you re-save/update any of your posts (pages, cpts, etc.) you won’t see them anymore unless you need them!
So update to version 1.4 and you’re good to go!

In reply to: [AddFunc Adaptive Content] Compatibility with WP Super Cache or similar?I’ve never tried it. You might need to set up a dummy WordPress install and experiment with a few plugins and devices. Feel free to share what you find for others. Good luck!
Thanks for letting me know. I’d have to see what other plugins you had active at the time you tried this. Also, which versions. If that’s something you can provide (or any amount of it that you can provide) then I can look into it. Otherwise, I can only speculate. Did you have WP Mobile Detect active at the same time? That might have caused it.

In reply to: [AddFunc Head & Footer Code] Execute PHP in AddFunc Head & Footer CodeWell done! Yeah, there is no way as is, so an implementation such as this one would be necessary. If you want to avoid update notifications so you don’t accidentally update it, you can do this:
- Backup the code you have in all of the AddFunc Head & Footer Code fields (in a text document), don’t forget individual Page/Post meta fields
- Rename the plugin directory (whatever you want, but no spaces)
- Rename the main plugin file (addfunc-head-footer-code.php in this case), giving it the exact same name you gave the directory
- Paste your code back into their respective fields
This basic procedure works with all plugins and you will no longer see update notifications. However, some plugins may not function properly afterwards.

In reply to: [AddFunc Head & Footer Code] wordpress 4.7 compatibilityYes! I’ve been using it in 4.7 and it’s functioning perfectly. I just haven’t gotten around to updating the readme.txt. AddFunc Head & Footer Code isn’t likely to fail on a WordPress update. In order for it to fail, WordPress would have to release an update that no longer uses the basic wp_head() and wp_footer() functions. These functions have been around forever and if WordPress ever decided to change them it would be BIG deal.

In reply to: [AddFunc Mobile Detect] Kindly add redirect once option and Back Button alsoI haven’t heard back from you on this. I hope my response was clear. Basically what you’re proposing would be outside the scope and workability of this plugin. Surely there is a plugin out there for your need, or there should be one. This is simply not that plugin, nor is it meant to be.
So if you would kindly and respectfully update or remove this review, I would greatly appreciate it. Anything less than a 5-star rating is a hard burden to deal with and should only be given where warranted. I don’t believe a 4-star rating is warranted when it is based upon an expectation the plugin isn’t design for (which I understand you may not have realized when you originally wrote this review).
Thank you in advance.
