In reply to: [3D Model Viewer] Start Problem .dae / .objHi Jens,
I postponed OBJ because it often causes problems with the textures.
Would you mind sending me your model as a real test case (joerg at joergviola.de)?
Is it OBJ or OBJ+MTL?
If possible, please send all files the export creates, because textures are stored separately.
That would be nice – thanks!Thx, Joerg
Hi Ronald,
now implemented an easier version. You can set width=”100%” now (height also).
Then the current size of the div is used as the base.
Since you can set this size vis CSS (style=”width: 100%”), you can now have relative sizes.
These widths and heights, nevertheless, do not adapt to changing the windows sizes.Hope that is ok for you.

Hi Ronald,
you can do exactly this by using the parameter “fps”.
Rendering only when required is on my todo list, as well as dynamic canvas size (although I think that might be tough…)
Have a nice day!
JoergHey cool!
Would you mind me use your site as a real example of usage? It slowed down, sorry!
Try new release 1.2.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [3D Model Viewer] Object slowing downHi Ronald,
thanks a lot for your feedback!
I’m sorry, I had not yet put any effort in performance tuning.
Now animation frames are throttled, which should give you a much better experience after having moved camera or objects. Please try release 1.2.
Greetings, Joerg
Hi!
Please upgrade to new version 1.1
You can now set opacity=”0″ to get a transparent background.
By also setting class=”myclass” or style=”position:absolute” or something, you should be able to overlay an image.Cheers, Joerg

In reply to: [3D Model Viewer] Adding CSSHi,
thanks for your feedback.
I did just upload version 1.1, maybe you want to try upgrading.
You now have the parameters class and style on the shortcode that should work just like on ordinary DOM elements.Hope this helps – nice day!
JoergThanks for the nice review, glad to help!
What excactly would you need for it to be responsive?
Size depending on device size?
