Chris, I feel your frustration. But for the longest time, the only support we got was from other users. The new owners don’t have every inherited issue fixed, but I have to give them kudos for being responsive.

I’ve been considering themes from WP for Church. Having Sermon manager in the same portfolio is definitely a plus.

Please clear something up for me. I was already familiar with “WP for Church” — their theme and plugins seem to be popular. But your URL is different:
“WP for Church” (https://wpfor.church) — your site
vs
“WP for Church” (https://wpforchurch.com) — their site

Their site refers to the same Facebook group that you listed in your post above. Are you affiliated with them?

I’m sorry, I just realized this is for Sermon Browser (not Sermon Manager). I no longer have a Sermon Browser installation, so I can’t offer an sql query. Perhaps someone else here can help.

So your WP site didn’t move, just the sermon files.

I’d do it with an easy sql update query, after getting a database backup. Unfortunately, I’m replying from a phone and I don’t have shell access to help with the sql query.

You’re apparently almost maxing out the available memory before enabling Sermon Browser. I’ve heard the admin panel is a “resource pig”, can it be turned off?

I thought all development and maintenance on Sermon Browswer had ended, and that there would be no more updates.

We migrated to Sermon Manager because the above topic appeared to indicate that it was the “approved” replacement. Did we get that wrong?

Should this be a feature request, or an “issue”? If that’s not a current feature, it doesn’t seem appropriate to call it an issue.

The feature I was hoping for was a feature of Sermon Browser. Any listing of sermons (filtered or “all”) had links to subscribe to podcasts of existing and future sermons. It actually had one link for iTunes and another for plain old RSS.

Rather than making this change (un-selecting Theme Compatibility) on the “live” site, it’s already that way on my “test” site.

And on my test site, the dropdowns are populated (except for “Filter by Topic). But selecting a preacher (for example) does nothing. There’s no “submit” button or equivalent, and there doesn’t appear to be any action from just selecting.
