    Hello Steve,

    you might want to:

    1. connect to your webserver through FTP and browse to wp-content/plugins.
    2. Rename the folder wpcasa-energy-efficiency to something else (eg. __wpcasa-energy-efficiency)
    3. Then try to reload your admin backend. With that procedure you basically manually deactivate a plugin.
    4. You should then be able to browse to the plugins page in your backend where a notification pops up, notifying you about that the wpCasa Energy Efficiency Plugin has been deactivated.
    5. Now you can install the Hotfix Plugin and activate it.
    6. And last but not least you can rename the wpcasa-energy-efficiency folder back and try to re-activate it.

    Hello Howard,

I’m not quite sure what shortcomings you refer to exactly but we’re currently working on various improvments. It will still take some time but around spring we should be ready.

    Hello @mibut1958,

glad that I could be of some help for you.

What issue exactly you had with that plugin? Does it now work again or do you still have an issue? I guess there might be an issue ‘before’ the upgrade but after applying the hotfix plugin also the labels plugin (among other plugins from us) should work as usual, or am I wrong?

    All the best,

    Hello,

please simply re-save your permalinks from WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks. This is basically the way 80% of those 404 errors can get fixed (since the htaccess file gets updated in the background).

    Hey everybody,

To solve this issue please simply install and activate this Hotfix Plugin. This Plugin is ONLY for the old version of wpCasa (wpCasa Theme Framework where the latest version is 1.3.9 and DOES NOT work with the current WPCasa Plugin – tough there is no issue with the new WPCasa Plugin at all).

    Hello Howard,

this is an issue which came along with WordPress 4.7. Since we’ve now a new version of WPCasa we do not maintain the old one since last Summer and that’s the reason this issue came up. But don’t worry – nothing is lost – it’s just invisible at the moment. To solve this issue please simply install and activate this Hotfix Plugin.

    Hello,

just wanted to make sure everything is working fine now, right? If there is anything else just lets stick to the ongoing thread in our support center.

    Hello,

sorry for not having better news. Bear in mind that WPCasa is a listing plugin aimed for real estate and therefore we had not in mind to make things like prices and agents optional at all. While the latter is maybe more easy to ignore the prices are pretty “deep” included in WPCasa, eg. in the search, the order dropdowns and as you already found out also in the labels and so on. Removing all of that while keeping the rest of the functionality perfectly in tact is quite a heavy task at the moment, thus my recommendation.

However, I wish you good luck and maybe you once come back to us ??

    Hello,

thank you very much for that awesome review. Words like yours keep us motivated and show us that our choosen way gets appreceated. Indeed WPCasa is aimed to neatly embed itself into the WordPress Admin UI while providing as much customization possibilities as possible. And we will do our best to further improve on every part possible.

    Thank you again

    Hello,

the advanced search is not really open by default. It state gets saved within a cookie so if you visit the demo the first time the advanced search is closed. If you open it then this will get saved within that cookie. If you re-visit the site then again it will appear open.

Unfortunately there is currently no way to influence this part. Maybe we will add that within one of the next versions of the WPCasa Advanced Search Plugin.

    All the best,
    Joe [WPCasa]

    Hello,

    1. Slider
WPCasa uses the default WordPress approach with having the listing images as “attachments” to the specific listing (post). So any slider plugin which can “read” the “attachments” of a listing can display them. So WPCasa does not use custom fields to store images or something.

    2. Search
Well, you could basically separate those and have Area Code as a children for the Post Code but I’m not sure if this looks appealing and clear. I’m not sure about an alternative solution here for you.

    3. Radius Functionality
No, we do not have this kind of feature available yet but we have it on our list. But to be honest – it gets not pretty much often requested. In fact it has been requested around 3 times in the last 5 years (with many thousands of users), so it can take a little bit until we can release a plugin for that.

    Hello,

yes, in that case please submit a ticket directly to us. And let us know what theme you’re using.

    Hello,

Fonts are more of theme territory, so best would be to get in touch with the author of your theme to see what can be done here. Alternatively a 3rd party font plugin might also be of some help, such as WP Google Fonts maybe?

    All the best,
    Joe [WPCasa]
