In reply to: Threading across networkposts, sorry i meant like a blog when i referred to a page. So someone comes to my domain creates a username and then signs up for a “blog” with the wp-signup.php and posts on that blog. shouldnt it automatically go to my main blog on mydomain.com it isnt
I am actually experiencing similar issues. I don’t know why the posts are not populating from other blogs. If someone creates a blog lets say mydomain.com/newblog it will not post to my main site. however if they are just registered and create a random post under a certain category it will. maybe you can help me since you seem like you’ve experienced a similar issue.

In reply to: subdirectoryI don’t think i did, what happens is for some reason the whole site tries to access wp-admin from the actual sub directory. even if they tried to access their admin panel it wont because the admin panel is not in their subdirectory when they are logged in. unless i have my .htaccess file setup wront this is what it lookes like
# BEGIN WordPress RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] # uploaded files RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d RewriteRule ^ - [L] RewriteRule . index.php [L]\ # END WordPress
all my images and and files get pointed to thier subdirectory. that is my issue in lamens terms i guess. how do i fix that? do my users have access to the wp-admin
