In reply to: [Display Widgets] After update to 2.6.2 does not work anymoreHi.
Similar problem (spaces where sidebar widgets should be but nothing inside) but just tried the solution suggested of replacing
return (bool) $instance; with
return $instanceThis worked for me.
Thanks very muchTested thoroughly and problem sorted.
Thanks very much for the speedy advice.Hi Again.
Just realised that all I had done was download the zip file and then used ‘upload’ button from within WordPress.
Have now tried expanding the zip file and copying this into the Plugins directory.
This seems to work – just testing it out.
Thanks very much for the suggestion.
Will leave this topic open until i have tested some more.Hi
Thanks for the suggestion.
I have tried it. Still fails but fails to copy a slightly different file:-
Could not copy file. all-in-one-event-calendar/public/js/scripts/add_new_event/event_location/input_coordinates_utility_functions.jsOpen to other suggestions!
Hi.
Just tested this OK on my set up.
That’s brilliant.
Thanks very much for sorting this out so quickly.Hi, I get exactly the same error message after updating to WordPress 4.4 in a website that I am developing offline (so haven’t updated a live website yet).
If I go to the settings page and in the admin options select ‘Disable download logs’ then the downloads work fine for different types of file download. But then I’m not getting updates about the number of downloads, so it’s not a great workaround.
