I replaced markerclusterer.js with a patched version from last year, which immediately solved the problem.
Again, it is slightly annoying to set old issues coming back again. Perhaps you should reconsider your testing and QA procedures.
By the way, the submission form always shows “Allowed file types: .*”, also with “Choose a file type” set to “pdf”.
Dear Rafiz,
It seems to work now with 7.0.3.3. Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Jochen
7.0.3.3 Changelog states “Fix – Fit image with container in single listing.”
Unfortunately, it still does not work without the abovementioned CSS.I spent some time playing with CSS and found that the following setting works for me:
.plasmaSlider__bgImg, .plasmaSlider__bgImg.plasmaSlider__contain, .plasmaSlider__bgImg.plasmaSlider__cover {
height: fit-content!important;
width: fit-content!important;
margin: auto auto;
}Dear Syed,
I tried your settings, and also many other combinations (Fit with Container, Fill with Container, Original), but I do not see any changes, neither in size of the container nor the image inside.
It would be perfect if it works like you showed in your screenshots.
Kind regards,
Jochen
Dear Rafiz,
The issue has not been resolved by the latest update (7.0.3.2).
Kind regards,
Jochen
Many thanks, Rafiz. The proposed solutions for 4. a & b sound great. I am very much looking forward to them. Best, Jochen
Dear Rafiz,
Please check here: https://fintech-consult.com/fintech/n26
Directorist Single Listing Settings:
– Fit with Container
– Blur
– 16
– 8I would expect that the image (a logo with an “N” in the middle on this page) would be scaled to fit, centered in the middle of the container, with blur left and right.
At least this was the behavior before 7.0.
Instead, it is cut and only the upper part is visible.By the way, please be so kind as to scroll down on this page (https://fintech-consult.com/fintech/n26) until you see “Corporate presentation.” This was a PDF before 7.0. Now it says “4230” with a link to “0.0.16.34”. I have tried to restore the link to the PDF via the “File Upload” custom field, but this type of custom field does not work.
Same applies to “Last financial statement” further down, which says “6849” and links to 0.0.26.193. Strange.Best,
Jochen
Any update on this?
If there is a CSS to fix the issue, please let me know.This works. Many thanks, Rafiz!
The fix does not work for me either.
Dear Rafiz,
First of all, many thanks for the improvements. I have checked 7.0.2 this afternoon, and it is much better. However, …
1. Custom fields still do not work on their own. I have to open each listing individually and press “Update.” Then the custom fields’ content shows up again for that specific listing. As I have about 1,200 listings, this is not very convenient, as it will take ages. Is there a faster way to get the custom fields’ content back?
2. “Field upload” custom field does not work correctly, even after pressing “Update.”
It shows some numbers instead of the filename. Changing it manually does not work as well. Press “Upload” either opens a file window twice (!) or not at all. In any way, the filename is not stored.3. Before, it was possible to set “Default expiration” to 0 (= no expiration). Now, this is not possible anymore, unfortunately. (Entering ‘0’ produces an error message.)
4. Legacy mode does not work (at least not for me). (see also #6.)
5. Changing ‘Personalization’ Padding (PX) and Margin (PX) has no effect. I tried different settings.
6. I use “Theme Template (Page”) under ‘Personalization.’ Before the update, we could specific a “Single Listing Page” as a template (the one with “[directorist_listing_top_area] …”).
With that page, it was easy to set sidebars, sliders, menus, and so on. Now, Directorist seems to use a basic page without any widgets. This is a huge issue, not only for me.Can we go back (at least as an alternative) to that Single Listing Page?
It would be great to be able to configure the sections there as well:
[directorist_listing_top_area]
…
[directorist_listing_section_name1]
[directorist_listing_section_name2]
…
This allows to add other content, e.g., images, decoration, or explanations.
You can keep the directory builder (which is great) and add a button to overwrite the Single Listing Page with the directory builder single page layout, for instance.
For some users, this might be the most convenient solution, while experienced users can configure the Single Listing Page themselves.I will roll-back and wait for 7.0.3 …
Best,
Jochen
One more thing:
In Directorist 7.0, there is a /general/ in the single listing URL (multi-directory option switched off). Is there a way to remove it? Otherwise, all my listings will have a new URL, creating issues with SEO and backlinks.
Dear Rafiz,
I found a quick fix for this, by copying m1.png to m5.png from your plugin folder into wp_includes/images.
Then, the cluster icons are visible again. Unfortunately, some do not show up in the right location on the map when I open it initially, but more south, at least in my case. When I zoom into the map, then the cluster icons move into their right positions. Any idea what is wrong?
By the way, is it possible to change the single marker icon somehow?
Best,
Jochen
