In reply to: WooCommerce product-category page templateThe product category page calls in all products in that category and displays them similar to the base shop page.
The templates can be found in the WooCommerce plugin directory. See https://docs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/ for instructions on how to override WooCommerce templates.

In reply to: WooCommerce product-category page templateDoesn’t look like this question has been solved…. In the latest version of WordPress you can define the slug under Settings > Permalinks
There are optional settings in there which will allow you to customize the “Product category base”, by default it is /product-category/
You can update it to whatever you please! Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Recent Posts with Excerpts] Reducing the textI am having the same issue. No changes that I have made in the code or in the widget settings have been implemented. Stumped.
Victor, this can all be accomplished using CSS. I suggest using the Firefox developer inspection tool “Firebug” to see which classes need to be altered.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingI deleted ALL the files, directories, and the database. Created a new database, and did a complete install from scratch. All issues have been resolved.
Now begins the task of adding back all the posts and galleries.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingI’ve been using the same FTP software for 2 years. I’ve had no problem uploading to this server before or any other server when installing WordPress. I’m going to scrap all of the files in the root directory, delete the database and try a complete install again. Hopefully that works.
Thank you for your time and suggestions!

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingI deleted all the files with the exception of the few that you listed. Re-uploaded the missing files from a fresh WordPress download. The Add Media button is not working, but the visual toolbar is now visible and when I type into the Gallery/Post it is no longer white font.
I tried using the Add Media button using the theme that was purchased, and the default theme, Twenty Thirteen.
Switching to the Text editor option is still not possible.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingUpdate: The Add Media button is now working – at least opening the pop-up (without re-uploading). However, when I go to add the media to the post, it doesn’t execute.
The Visual editor does not display the text toolbar. And the text appears white (so you cannot see it, unless you highlight it).

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingI did that already.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingThe only errors I see are:
[Wed Oct 23 01:56:05 2013] [error] [client ####] File does not exist: public_html/wp-content/themes/custom_theme
[Wed Oct 23 01:56:05 2013] [error] [client ####] File does not exist: public_html/404.shtmlAll old files were deleted from the server before this new install.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingAfter replacing all of the files and reverting back to the default theme (Twenty Thirteen), I am still encountering the same problem. The Text editor option is not available and the Add Media button still does not work.
All plugins have been deactivated from the very beginning.
When I right click on the Add Media button and open it in a new tab it brings me straight back to the new post page. It’s as if the action for that button does not exist or is broken.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingI replicated the problem using the Twenty Twelve theme; the Add Media button does not work. I will try the Twenty Thirteen theme once the files are finished uploading and report back.

In reply to: 3.6.1 Add Media button not workingThe parent theme was purchased from Themeforest, the child theme was conveniently already included in the digital download.
And no, the Add Media does not work in the parent theme either – I tired that before posting. The only thing I haven’t tried is installing the WordPress files again (which I am doing now, with the exception of the content directory).
