Thank you for following up and asking! I’ve been really pleased/impressed with how responsive and helpful you’ve been.
That said, I’ve continued to be confused and I’ve gotten frustrated and given up. It appears I have data going into the GA4 property for everything June 5th and forward, and I can go back to the UA property for anything before May 31st. Not ideal, but at least I am not blind.
Thank you again for all the help you have offered!
Sent, thanks!
And the option to place the Universal Tracking code is still not something i can change, it is greyed out.
I just removed and re-added the Site Kit plugin. Still seems I’m only getting real-time user data in the GA4 property, not the UA property.
That option is greyed out, I am unable to turn it on. Below it says “the code is controlled by the Tag Manager module.”
Thanks for your help, James. Seems my new GA4 property is getting data, but my UA property is not.
That made me wonder, in Site Kit, do I need to have both Tag Manger and Analytics enabled, or just Tag Manager since it controls Analytics?

@jamesosborne Thanks. I have temporarily reconnected Tag Manager. Please let me know once you have reviewed.
Well, I am still unsure why I can’t use Tag Manager with Site Kit. It is off now, and things work fine. When it was on, things didn’t work. What gives?
@jamesosborne One question for you….do I need a Tag setup in Google Tag Manager? Meaning, we created a GTM account, but didn’t create a tag. Is that the problem, I needed to do more setup in GTM for Analytics to flow?
