Okay, I figured it out. Firefox was, for some reason, not allowing me to make changes to the Minimeta settings. Safari does, however, and I used that to make the changes.

Complicating things was W3 Super Cache, which was displaying old versions of the site and making it appear like I hadn’t disabled gravatars. It was only once I’d installed Minimeta that I realised the problem.

Yeah, I’m just trying to figure out the CSS to style only the login/out link. Not that it matters noow though, since I removed the widget after it constantly showed gravatars despite being set to not display them. I can’t be bothered trying to figure out why this happens and how to style the links.

I’ll just find a less awkward meta widget.

It seems that when I use any kind of non-default permalink setup it doesn’t work at all, but changing everything to default works fine. I was using the preset Day and Name option before it broke, and having to use default settings is going to cause a few issuers for particular posts.

Still, at least it’s working now, but I’d like it to switch back to Day and Name at some point. Any idea as to what causes this kind of problem?
