In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Remove next/previous event linkWow, this seems like such a basic function. I too was expecting the prev/next to filter on the category. Why bother creating the categories. I would think a simple sql query to get the list before falling into the navigation. All were doing is traversing a list.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Read More buttonOk, I think I have something that is workable by using the Theme customization options. It works for what I want to do with the calendar, but it may interfere with what I want to do with some other pages.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Read More buttonI gave it a try and I get the same results.
It is like the post that is being used is not playing with the Theme customization editor. I specify the custom title and nothing, I specify single column and I still get a side bar.The bottom line is that I’d like the “Read More” to go to a page and not a post.
If I can’t do that, then I’d like to remove the “Read More” button. I can’t imagine why a button would be provided without a way to implement the ‘action’.I’m not doing a blog with posts.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Read More buttonI think it is working, it is going to a blog page, I think.
If this is the way it is supposed to work then I’d need to know that. I don’t know where this page is coming from. I’d like to have control of the page that displays the event.
It is a nice summary of the event.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Read More buttonThat is circular. I’m on the event with instance_id=2 and then it tries to take me back there, to the same page?
The page that comes up is some default for wordpress or my theme.
This is the significant portion of the url when I get to that default page view.
/index.php/event/mcdc-meeting/?instance_id=2
