So after looking at the code again, I believe I may have fixed it. Simply delete and retype the apostrophe symbols.

I loved this plugin until I figured out that it was the reason I was receiving numerous bot registrations each day. I would love to continue supporting this plugin, but if an update to that PHP function isn’t provided, I will be forced to delete the plugin and find a better alternative.

Please advise on an update to this code.
