Yes. I decided that I will just use the old directory.

Is it possible to:
1. Rename the directory
2. Change the “WordPress Address” and “Blog Address”

?

Hoping someone can take a look and help out a n00b?

I probably didn’t make myself clear. I AM the IT department, but the website is on an external hosting service. I guess I’d need to download some kind of ASP or PHP Password Protection script and run it, but was looking for recommendations. I kinda hoped this was built into WordPress, but I guess that’s only for posting/commenting, I guess.

It will be on the host where the school’s website is, but we use a hosting service.
