Just now, I have tried to replicate the issue by witching your site’s language to English, but I couldn’t replicate the issue.
That ist because I disabled the plugin “All In One WP Security”.
Should I enable it for your testing? On what date at which time (I live in the time zone Berlin/Paris).
My provider (Strato) told me that the hosting package I am using does not provide the option to increase the server resources, they proposed to rent an VServer – which I do not want to do since that would create an additional workload and comptence requirements to just keep it running properly. The same applies to a change in the provider – I just do not have the time to do that.
I wondering why this problem arises after 450 days running the webside with the “All In One WP Security” without problems althoug I updated some pages. The pronblem came up for the first time after I amended just the menue. And the problem remains until I disable the plugiin in its entirety. Just switching off single functions in the plugin’s settings won’t help.
Any other ideas?

Lets try a process of elimination. Activate the plugin if it is deactivated. Then make sure you don’t enable any firewall rules. Then carrying out a test. Let me know how you go.
I did that and found out the problem is not caused by AIWPS. Confrontig the support of AISEO with this finding they now claim that the fault is caused by WPML and they try to solve it with their WPML-contact. So far without result.

In the Basic Functionalities I changed manually the Plugin Id of the first instance to “2” so the header now reads “Seite Dateien-Upload: Shortcode Composer for Uploader ID 2”. I did amend the settings and it works.Perhaps I misunderstood the concept of “instances” and their numbering, however that has been caused be the re-numbering system, i.e. that the instance first created became # 2 as soon as I created a second instance.

Ok, understood. But the same applies when I try to upload a zip-file. That is not an unusal format for transferring huge files. Can you let us know wichi file-types are allowed when we use only the *.*?

I should also mention that my server is run with Parallels Plesk Panel 11.0.9 Update #50.

I turned of this plugins which were in reach – i.e. not activated on the site but on the network level. Thus, I was able to access the backend and switched the plugins on on the site level, but only those which were in fact needed.Forum: Plugins

But I am waiting for a reaction from the side of the author for confirmation.
