Same here. Crashed my website. Once I disabled the plugin, everything is working again.

I just tried again and now it’s working.

I think my issue was the Accordions Pro plugin by PickPlugins was causing permissions errors. I was able to get the issue resolved with an update and now I can replace images with your plugin with zero problems no matter which option I choose on the screen.

I can’t get you a video right now, but I can tell you how I got it to work.

– If I left the box “Put new Upload in Updated Folder” unchecked, then I got the error.

– If I checked the box, then it worked.

There’s also an extension for TablePress that allows you to change the table shortcode for TablePress to something else. https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-shortcode/

Can the plugin be updated to show that it is compatible with WP 5.x? Presently it shows that it is compatible up to WP 4.8 and your plugin page on www.remarpro.com shows it has been 1 year since the last update. That’s why people are asking. WP 5.0 introduced a lot of changes that have caused some plugins that haven’t been updated in a while to stop working when sites are updated to 5.0. I have a couple plugins on my sites that haven’t been updated in 1-3 years that are now abandoned by their authors that have me scrambling to find alternatives. Luckily I haven’t updated my sites to 5.0 just yet. I’m still in the phase of checking and testing plugins to ensure that they will work before pushing the update button.

Glad that you’re still supporting this great plugin and thanks in advance if you can push out an update with the WP compatibility version number!

If you’re willing to pay for a plugin like this, I found WP Link Status Pro on CodeCanyon. There’s a demo of the plugin on their website that you can download and try it out. I tested it and it works just like BLC and has some other bells and whistles. Here’s the link if you’re interested.

I have been having the same issue. I have rolled my plugin back to the 3.11.3 version which was last the time I know everything was smooth sailing.
