I just did a clean WordPress 4.1.1 installation and installed the plugin. It’s working perfectly fine on my server and so are more 500 happy people using the plugin.

Toby, I have tested the plugin on multiple versions of WordPress and made sure it worked right before releasing the update. I would really like to understand why it isn’t push data on your websites. Can you please give me a link to one of those websites that have the plugin activated? It will help me understand the issue.

I understand what you are trying to do here but I don’t see how implementing this will help all the plugins users. You won’t be tracking variants for every page on your blog, do you? Most likely, you will be tracking variations on landing and sales pages.

So, just add the mixpanel.track script along with the variant event on those pages and it should work fine. But if you really want to track variations on a whole bunch of pages, just let me know here and I will send a separate zip file with the changes just for you.

Hi desaboye. I have tested this plugin on several environments and I can tell you that the error you are receiving is because of an outdated PHP installation on your server.

Line 17 in mixpanel.php is

namespace jittarao {

..so now I think that you have run into this error because you are running with a PHP version older than 5.3 (PHP 5.3 was released in June 2009).

Can you tell me the version of PHP you are running? Here’s a plugin to do it if you’re not sure how to do it manually.

Also, can you tell me where your site is hosted? Do you do it yourself?

If yes, I recommend you to upgrade to the latest PHP release.

I did a clean installation just to be sure and it’s the same. When I changed the Site and Home URLs on the settings screen. Boom. Redirect loop.
