Did you get this fixed? I have exactly the same problem.

Hummm…Not sure if this is going to give anybody any ideas but the footer consistently jumps up to just where my light blue colored menu on the left finishes.

Sadly clear: both; is already in there.

Any other ideas? This ones really got me stumped.
