Hey guys.
Thanks.
Yes I am able to use the free Hostgator certificate only thing is sometimes the domain it uses if you were to check the certificate by right clicking from browser address bar, is not the actual domain of the website. Sometimes its a subdomain of my main hosting account. RSSSL says its not a valid certificate. After configuring it with this plugin sometimes the cert gets overwritten by the free one and I have to install it again to get the domain to match.
If I had saved a copy of the files the first time I’d be fine. But it just won’t let me download them again.
There is no other folder in site root. It’s sees the correct folder so that’s all good. I just don’t have the crt and private files to install it manually again on server.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar Lite] Shortcode to only display certain categoryOK Got it. Thanks. You have to create an event and give it the category you want to use. Then after you create the shortcode with that category filter you can go back and edit the event to a different category and then it won’t display.
Now if there was only an easier way to change the “No event found!” message without having to use the translation plugin.
Is there a template file where it can be edited?Yes I am installing it exactly as that link you sent explains. And when I paste in the public.pem contents it says invalid. But I don’t think the public.pem is the right certificate for the CRT box. I see the files generated from my other sites start with —–BEGIN CERTIFICATE—– whereas the public.pem file starts with —–BEGIN PUBLIC KEY—–
I used the reset button in the wizard and have confirmed that the directory on the server has deleted those files. But I am still getting the message that the keys exist already.
I have seen the same message on some of my other sites but since I have the CRT file saved I am still able to copy and paste into the server boxes (as per that hostgator tutorial)
The problem I have now is that since I didn’t save the CRT file for this website I have no other way to get it unless the plugin lets me download it again. But the error won’t get me there.I hope that all makes sense.
I tired it with the reset link but still no option to download the certificates. Same message.
I have confirmed that it clears the public_html/ssl/keys directory after the reset.
Message:
Attempt 5. Keys exist already. Exists the LE_ACME2\Order already? Path: /home3/username/public_html/ssl/keys/account_live_email-address/order_ff9039a577394876898579976f96fb79/
After the reset the folder mentioned above was not there.I tried to copy the contents of the public.pem file into the CRT box on the server and still says The certificate is not valid.
Is the public.pem file the CRT certificate?
Because its generating the public.pem and the private.pem into that folder.I’m on hostgator shared server with multiple add-on domains but I’ve always been able to paste the certificates into the boxes on server to update the certificates.
SSL is still working but if you click on the certificate info in the browser address bar it does not match the add-on domain name. This has to do with the free ones you get. I’m not trying to install a paid certificate.same thing. Gets to the generation step and says:
Attempt 5. Keys exist already. Exists the LE_ACME2\Order already? Path:
and provides the path to the server folder.when I click in the address bar I get this
https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=rlrsssl_really_simple_ssl&tab=letsencryptwhere do I add the &reset-letsencrypt=1
I tried it like this and it didn’t work. Same error message and did not give me a way to download keys.

Yes it works fine with WP Cron enabled. Going to do that.

In reply to: [Social Like Box and Page by WpDevArt] Errorsmy error log is also showing this:
[19-Sep-2021 20:26:06 UTC] PHP Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /wp-content/plugins/like-box/includes/widget.php on line 51It wouldn’t install automatically if I selected Hostgator during the installation. I had to select I don’t know hosting provider to get to the screen where it would let me download and then copy and paste the certificates.
Like I said it does accept it when I create it manually on hostgator but after a day it changes so yes it seems they must overwrite it.
I’m guessing there is nothing I can do about it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] permissionsHey Michael,
I did some testing and it turns out the conflict was with the Under Construction PRO plugin. I was able to deactivate the plugin, untick the setting to allow the editor permission to copy and it saved the setting. Then I simply reactivated the PRO plugin. So that works if you know what to disable. The Under Construction free version did not have an issue so its just the PRO.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] permissionsOn the Permissions tab I uncheck a role and click save.
It says setting saved and lands on What to copy tab.
I go back to the Permissions tab and the role I just unchecked is still checked.
It must be a conflict on this installation I use the plugin on other websites and it works fine there.
This is currently a staging site. I will try disabling more plugins and try to figure it out.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] permissionsI figured out a way to do it via the AAM capabilities screen.
I did deactivate the AAM plugin and still could not change it from the Duplicate Posts permission tab. Maybe another plugin is causing it.
