In reply to: Set the max number of posts per page? Each page shows a certain category, one’s rants, one’s news. The total number of posts shown on the pages is 10. So if the last 10 posts are in the rants category, the news page will show no posts, because only the last ten posts are shown, rather than showing the last ten posts in each category.
this making much sense?

In reply to: Set the max number of posts per page?I have done.. that seems to set the total number of posts on all the pages. So if it’s set to 10, one page could show 9 posts and another could show 1. I need to set it up so both pages always show 10.
Thanks.

In reply to: Upload ManagerI know what you mean. I wanted it so I can manage the files from other computers without ftp programmes..
Well, it’s not really a file manager I need as such, but something that allows me to see and manage what’s in the uploads folder from any pc.

In reply to: Change the blog adress.I’ll show you an example…
https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php
when you click to view comments on there it takes you to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/index.php?p=9#comments
I want it to take you to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php?p=9#comments
but if I set the blog adress to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php
it takes you to
https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php/index.php
Does this help at all?
Thanks,

In reply to: Link images.Hey, thanks for trying to help, half the site’s no finished yet, hence a large majority of the nav doesn’t work. I think I have some idea of what I need to do now but if you wanna chat, I’ll stick my contact info on the page shortly.

In reply to: change the main page.Sorry.. pressed enter by mistake. What I meant to ask was…
How can I change the main blog page from index.php?
I currently have 2 slightly different pages, index.php and blogs.php. Whenever I click a link on blogs.php it shows the correct information on the index page. I want to show this information on blogs.php instead, so when you click a link on index.php it also shows the correct information but with the blogs.php template. I tried changing the Blog address (URI) to blogs.php but then it links to blogs.php/index.php. Sorry if that makes no sense, I’m not too good at explaining these things.
Many thanks,
Jimbo.
