Scratch that, I did a little bit more research (should have done this before posting, so I apologise for that. But hey now this is here if anyone else has the same problem) turns out after changing the role level on my custom user types I had to change the users to a different role and then change them back to cause the level to update in the DB.

So thanks again for a great plugin, I’ve found it incredibly helpful in so many ways.

Sorry, one more update, I’ve reset the register link to its standard form (no Modal Window) as people have tried to register on the site but I’ve pasted the source code from the page here: https://gist.github.com/jiipsijack/65f140d2ed56ad3a0fdd if you need to check it out.

Oh and upon registering, the user will see a new page telling them to close the window to continue with their purchase. I just haven’t finished that part yet. ??

Hi again, I’ve added your script to my header, but the page doesn’t refresh when I close my modal window, I added it in using “css and js toolbox” plugin, it shows up correctly but I’m not seeing any change. I’ve tried it with plain <script> tags and with <script type=”text/javascript> The eModal I’m closing contains an iframe of another page on my site, don’t know if that makes any difference. The page is my shopping cart page, if you go to this example product – https://hoofpick.me/archives/product/tekna-ergonomic-girth and add it to your cart then try the “register” link you can see the Modal window. Once again, thank you so much for your help. Can’t wait to have this working.

Thanks for such a quick reply, would you mind telling me whereabouts I should add this? I’m relatively new to jquery stuff at the moment. Would I be modifying your plugin or putting this somehwere in my theme? Thanks again.

Cheers, that worked perfectly, I don’t know how I missed that thread when I was searching! there is a small typo in that code that throws an error but it was a quick fix, the first instance of “my_cpts” is fine but the second says “my_opts” just for anyone else who uses it, you may wanna update that thread. Thanks for the super fast support and the great plugin, I’ll be reviewing it now. 5 stars on their way!

Hi I’m also having this problem, I thought it was because my custom post type was generated by Thecartpress and was hoping to use the answer to my other post in this forum to solve the issue but now I’m wondering if its something else causing the issue and this is more important to my site than my previous question so if anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi sorry, it wasn’t in the admin bar it was the custom branding logo above the admin menu (My mistake) and I solved the problem by adding _self into the code after it. Thanks anyway for such a quick response and for making a great plugin.
