Generally speaking, does this work with all widget-based plugins? Or does it vary?

Thanks for the replys. When I export my database from 2.0.1, it’s a .sql.gz file. It looks like my new WordPress installation wants a ‘WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR)’ file. How do I get the old WP installation to export a file in the WXR format?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the plugin that allows me to export to WXR =)

Yeah, I just double-checked, looks the same.

I checked the file permissions and they’re the same as the permissions on the plugins that are working – So that can’t be what’s causing it.

Well I guess that was it – When I first upgraded, I didn’t delete all of the files first. I deleted them and re-uploaded them just now and it seems to be working fine. Thanks!

I should also mention I did search the forums before posting and was unable to find any information relevant to this issue. If anyone can help me out it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

nope, definitely not, i just made a post. i think i might have gone into the plugins section and clicked ‘activate’ on a plugin but i’m not sure – could this have caused it? and regardless of what caused it, is it fixable, as in can i restore all my old posts, layout, etc (was all done in WP) or do i have to restart from scratch?
