Yes, I do plan to update the plugin. It may be a little while though because I have some ideas for some improvements to make to the plugin. But, hopefully it shouldn’t be very long.

As for your request… Are you referring to the banner image at the top of the plugin page here on www.remarpro.com? If so, that red scheme is already included in the plugin. It is called “Red”. Do you not see that scheme in your install?

My apologies for the delay… I’ve been pretty busy with work lately.

Well, I can’t seem to reproduce the issue you are having. All the schemes seem to work just as they’re supposed to in all of my tests.

The only thing I can really offer at this point is to have me take a look at it myself. You could send me a link to the site where you’re having the issue, and your WordPress login details, and I’d be happy to try it out to see if I can figure out the issue. ??

I can understand if you don’t trust me, but that is all I can really think of. I can’t seem to reproduce the issue on any of my setups, so I don’t think there is much more I can do, unless you could have me take a look directly.

If you would be ok with me taking a look, you can send the details to my email at [email protected] and I’d be happy to take a look. I would definitely not mess with anything else on your site and my intentions are only to help as much as I can. I do WordPress support for a living, so I do this kind of stuff every day.

Have you tried going into the scheme management area and deleting all the default color schemes? You should do that first, and then deactivate and reactivate the plugin once, which will reload all the default schemes with their new CSS.

Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.

I’ve actually had a scheme hosting site in the works for a while. It will be a repository of schemes that anyone can submit to and anyone can download from. I hope that will be able to address your first point. I don’t currently have an ETA on when the site will go live, but I am working on it and it shouldn’t be very long.

On your second point… I actually created an automated script for generating color schemes. That is actually what I used to create the default color schemes that come with the plugin. It is a LOT easier than writing them by hand. I may look into releasing that script and/or including an interface for it on the new scheme hosting site in the near future.

As for your third point, I do apologize. I currently have a day job that has kept me pretty busy, and as such I haven’t really had time to get my site back up and running. I do hope to have some time soon though to do that, so hopefully it won’t be down for very much longer.

As is stated on my site currently, you can always contact me via email if you have any issues with the plugin. I usually am able to respond in a very timely fashion, so feel free to drop me a quick message if you ever need help.

The new version of the plugin will be released right after the new 3.6 version of WordPress is released, which should be any time now as it has already reached the second release candidate stage.

I’m doing this because some of the updated plugin code will be reliant on this upcoming version of WordPress.

If you’re referring to the admin menu dropdown backgrounds being transparent when using one of the included color schemes, then yes, I am aware of the issue and it has been fixed in the new version of the plugin which is pending release.

The new version should be released some time very soon. It is simply that I do currently have a day job, so I can’t always commit tons of time to this plugin. But, the new version will release as soon as possible. So, be sure to keep an eye out for that.

I’m very sorry to hear that you have had some troubles with the plugin, however, it is kind of difficult to troubleshoot the issue without more details.

Is there any more information you can provide on this issue?
What version of WordPress do you have?
What version of the plugin do you have?
Do you receive any errors of any sort?
Does it still happen if you disable all other plugins except Easy Admin Color Schemes?

At any rate, I’m currently working on the next version of the plugin. It will include many bug fixes and enhancements and will be more compatible with newer versions of WordPress.

It’s possible the new version could work better for you. So, be sure to keep an eye out for that. I should be ready to release the new version sometime soon.

Unfortunately, I can’t say I understood your post 100%. The only language I can speak/read/write fluently is English. I tried running your message through Google Translate but that didn’t seem to help much in my understanding of your query.

However, I do believe you are referring to having issues with my plugin and WordPress 3.5.

I can tell you that I am currently working on the next version of the plugin and I hope to have it out soon. It will be compatible with more recent versions of WordPress and will also have many bug fixes and enhancements.

As to your original query, I’m not very sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean you want to alter the colors of the icons in the admin like I have done for the default color schemes?

If that is the case, you will need to modify the icons in an image editing program and link to them in your color scheme. You can check out the code in some of the default color schemes to see how I did it.
