Forgot to update my status on this- for the life of me I don’t remember how I resolved this, but I know for sure it wasn’t AdBlock or a plugin conflict. If I remember, I’ll update this thread- I think it was a CSS conflict in the theme.

Since then, I’ve removed an opacity style on the content and sidebar wrapper to alleviate a bug that caused all content to disappear in the wrapper after about 1400 pixels down- it was strange (tried applying to container and got the same error).

I’m actually having the same issue- tiled galleries show up every time on Chrome, but only about half the time on Safari, especially when going to individual posts:
