Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Update Breaks Category WidgetThanks! I appreciate you guys taking care of it so quickly. ??
I just had this same problem. I ran Broken Link Checker for the first time at AllFreelanceWriting.com. A reader then emailed me letting me know that a post from 4 or 5 years ago was showing up as the latest post. The publish date seems to have automatically changed after having the plugin unlink something.
I’ve heard something similar can happen with SEO plugins like All-in-One SEO, but I don’t have that installed on this site, and the issue seems to be specifically tied to the link checker activities from earlier.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. This looks like a fantastic tool and I can’t wait to use it more fully, but that isn’t possible if I have to worry about my post dates changing.

In reply to: I hate the way 2.6 handles images!I’m also not at all a fan of the media upload tool. I work with a pretty fast connection, but it still takes way too long to load – fine if just one, but I have a blog where I need to upload a dozen images or so in each post (and not in gallery format) – it’s a total nightmare.
I thought I’d be in love with 2.7 after seeing a video walkthrough Matt did. From that, I got the impression we’d be able to re-add the upload to the write post page – apparently not unless I’m missing something. I desperately want it back on my write post page, where I can leave the images visible right below my screen and just click and add them – completely counter-intuitive to make people do more work to add a simple image. At the very least, I’d like the OPTION back. I can’t even find a plugin that can restore the functionality and until I do, I can’t see bothering with upgrades on my other blogs – considering downgrading actually just to avoid this tool completely.
