In reply to: [Allegiant] Remove header image from blog/post page onlyHi Mihaela! ??
Piggy-backing onto one of Johanna’s questions – is there a way to change the header image on individual blog posts so that the header image isn’t the same as the blog image?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Great] Ninja Form not appearing on pageW3 Total Cache Plugin seems to be the culprit for me, too. Bummer! Wish there was a fix for this so I could use the plugin. It doesn’t seem to matter what theme either. I’m using a restaurant theme, Brasserie Pro.

In reply to: [Kale] Can’t get rid of sidebar widgetsHi @lyrathemes!
Yes – so sorry I didn’t do this with my post.
the Search and Recent Posts are not supposed to be in the bordered element.
Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your response! I managed to get the social icons there just through html coding, but I like your idea of setting it up as their own menu. I’ll go ahead and do that for greater flexibility later. My new problem is that sidebar fields are showing up in the bordered area when they’re not supposed to be. Weird things like this keep happening.
In the Sidebar-Default-Bordered, there is only About Me and Follow Me listed, yet Search and Recent Posts are also showing up there. Those are actually listed under Sidebar-Default. Can I fix this? I thought perhaps it would correct itself overnight, but it’s all still there…bordered. ??

In reply to: [Kale] Can’t get rid of sidebar widgetsOkay – Suddenly the widgets showed up Sidebar-Default, and I was able to get rid of them.
I’m assuming that in problem #2, the image was inserted via coding in the Text widget, as were the social icons. So…I’ll see if I can get that to work.

In reply to: Theme: Snow Summit – Just downloaded, theme distortedDUH!!!! I figured it out. There IS a Header Widget area! How dumb!
Thanks so much Andrew!! ??

In reply to: Theme: Snow Summit – Just downloaded, theme distortedI realized I don’t have to activate the other one… I can edit any theme from the Editor. But I don’t want to screw anything up, and I’m seriously considering just changing themes (even though I love this one!). ??
I don’t see an option to remove Header Widgets, so I’m going to mess with the CSS a bit.
Crossing my fingers….

In reply to: Theme: Snow Summit – Just downloaded, theme distortedAndrew – Thanks so much for your replies. I see what your saying. I’m using a child theme, though, so do I need to activate the parent theme to make the changes, and then revert back to the child theme? Can you think of a way around this, perhaps with custom CSS code?
I’ll go work on it and see what I can come up with.
Thanks again!

(Thanks for the great tip about awesomescreenshot.com!)
I apologize for the confusion. Please let me clarify. I have two sites. One for my book, https://www.theinvisiblestorm.com (Graphene), and one for my author site, https://www.juanimahiatt.com (Brunelleschi). I just built my author site, and realized I really ought to have my blog on that site, and not my book site.
By building a custom menu within my book site, I linked the Blog page to go to my author site. I copied and pasted all my blogs from the book site to the author site.
My question is, is there any tricky way to transfer the comments? I was trying to think outside the box, wondering if you somehow edit and copy the comments.php file from one site to the other.
Thanks for your patience. I’m sorry I didn’t explain it very well in the first post.
