Would you be willing to turn this already web-based application for editing and storing role playing game character sheets into a wordpress module? Since WP doesn’t have much in the way of gamers stuff this would be pretty cool.

You will find WP hard to beat in the looks department, and functionality. As for CMS I heavily favor Xoops.

wp-autoblog is an rss feed plugin that pulls feeds and places the feeds directly on a sites front page. The plugin and info about it can be found here.

So the problem is with adhevise and any rss feed? Thats to bad I really need a clean way to sticky post.

I think you need wp-autoblog, by elliotback. I am using it with the truncate titles plugin here https://www.sbe38.org. Whats nice about this plugin is rss automatically updates and loads directly to the front page. The bad thing is when post update so quickly you can miss stuff. To keep info front page long enough you’ll need a sticky post plugin, but the only one I have found doesn’t play well with wp-autoblog. So no sticky post.

I think i’ll upgrade over the coming weekend. What I would really like to do is get adhesive and wp-autoblog to play nice together.

Currently I am using wp-autoblog, but that doesn’t play nice with adhesive. The combo adds gibberish to the titles of rss feeds pulled in by wp-autoblog.

I guess I’ll need to be sure adhesive works with 2.0.3, or I’ll be looking for a sticky post plugin too!

plugin to allow for content zones on the front page. Much like widgets to the sidebar. Just drag and drop plugins and the content is sticky to those zones.

Try removing the pics and see if the theme displays correctly. I had a simular issue and after remove an image that was a little to big I had no problems.

Hi guys. Is there a way to display site content when no rss is available? I have a broadcast blog setup for a local engineer chapter and I want to pull info from https://www.fcc.gov. Is there a way to do this?

I’m using a headline image replacement on https://www.sbe38.org. The cool thing about this plugin is you dont need to edit the theme. Just go into admin and set h1,h2,h3 etc to be what you want and load the corresponding font into the plugins folder. The plugin with make changes to any title with the h attribute.
