Thnak’s for the information…But when I put in killall -9 mysqld
and I get a message that reads:-bash: killall-9: command not found
and also I did try some of the other advice you gave me and still I have the same issue.

My Apache and MySQL is set up for the default settings,and my MYSQL port is set to 3306. After I change the ports I was asks for my password which I enter my info, and after that the light to MYSQL trun off.

The page I’m referring to is a post page. I just want to either delete the page or change the name “Home” into something different. WordPress doesn’t give me an option to change the Home page or to delete it. If so , I don’t know were to go to make these changes.

Yes,I did run the install process but I don’t remember what url that was in the browser at the time. Is there any way I can find out?

I install my WP into my HD and the location of the WP is in my
user > myname > Site > WordPress folder. I’m working on a mac.
