Sorry, I realized I miss read what you stated in your post–“modification will work is if you have a WordPress page associated with every single video that TubePress generates“. The post were not generated by TubePress so it did not work.

Could I ask where in the plugin files lies the information for the URL meta link and if there is a way to redirect it to instead to post that have the same embedded files?

There is a post for every video as we needed to script each one for accessibility. The urls for the post have a date and then title. Example–
https://www.hawaii.edu/news/2012/05/09/hawaii-students-participate-in-maweke-ceremony/

I think I can figure the rest out from here, now that I know I have the right place.

May I also suggest when you do work on Feature 198 that there is an option for the shortcode for WordPress tags. (I believe it only searches for YouTube or Vimeo tags?)

I did see this—#6 “To get this working I have just hacked the code in the YouTube player. I replaced the YouTube URL with https://www.mydomain.com/Page_name_of_video_gallery/?tubepress_video=

So now I just use the playerlocation=”youtube” to get it to link to my site. It works well.”

Sorry, I’m new at this and jumped at the chance to learn. I want the URL meta to link to the post that features each individual video.

I tried to find the file but wasn’t sure where to find it. tubepress>src>main>web>players>vimeo>vimeo.js ?

I replaced the domain name and page name, but it didn’t work. What do I need to do or correct?
