In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] "Add Column to Posts" feature shows up but doesn't countNo go. I sent a contact via the website but in the end never received a response. Either it never went through to anyone or they/you couldn’t figure it out. Oh well…I have learned to deal with it. I can from the stats page filter it from there by clicking on a page if it pops up in one of the boxes (like “top pages” or “top landing pages”). Still though…if I click on any of the little stats link on WP’d post list, it leads to empty data. I was hoping with the few updates that came out in the last month or so, that one may fix it. I installed the stats on another blog and the stats links seem to work there….so I don’t know what could be conflicting in this situation. Kind of boggles me as I went through as many scenarios as possible in my head.
Question…what did you do to enable the titles under the thumbnails…because nothing I change in settings enables it :/

In reply to: [Author Product Review] rating not showingI noticed this myself. The rating tag shows up raw as “{rating}” on the index page which is pretty embarrassing. How can I add support for it on the index as well?
Thanks.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] "Add Column to Posts" feature shows up but doesn't countOf course. Read the start of that post “Scenario 1)”. States that the stats show up properly from within slimstats. Properly as in, it shows the pageviews and other stats. It’s only when you try to pull them from outside of it (Edit posts screen).
A lot of those pages receieved dozens of views in the month…some hundreds.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] "Add Column to Posts" feature shows up but doesn't countI spent some time poking around at it.
Scenario 1) Traveling to Stats->Overview and clicking on a post in “Top Posts” box
Result: Leads to the appropriate stats for that post. URL box in browser says “https://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-slim-view-2”Scenario 2) Going to Edit posts page and clicking on “stats” or the “0” (when the column is enabled)
Result: Leads to a stats screen with 0 results. URL box in browser says “https://www.mysite.com/blog/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-slim-view-1&fs%5Bresource%5D=contains+/blog/reviews/Best-Book-2013/”Differences:
1) Stats page sends to wp-slim-view-2, posts page sends to wp-slim-view-1 …..trying to change 1 to 2 in URL box coming from posts page didn’t change the result so that must not be it.2) Stats can populate from within the stats pages just fine and there are no variables being sent in the URL outside of “page”. The URL coming from the edit posts screen contains the “fs%5Bresource%5D” (aka fs[resource]) variable. Maybe the script is having a hard time with that variable being passed to it from the posts screen? At the same time…”Current Filters” shows the variable on the screen so it “appears” to be passing it successfully. Maybe somewhere else down the line it tries to pull the variable to populate the stats and fails…?
Beyond that, I can’t find a single thing. Given, I’m not exactly an expert at this ??

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] "Add Column to Posts" feature shows up but doesn't countNothing changed. I just enabled all of the plugins back. I checked the server logs and checked for a number of pages that had anywhere from 50-150+ hits and then looked at WordPress’ Posts page and still everyone of them show 0 in that column with no data to show when you click on it….just empty charts.
all the rest of the stats when visiting the main pages of the plugin work fine.
So still, only the individual page stats are being a problem.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] "Add Column to Posts" feature shows up but doesn't countNo I haven’t changed any of the settings since install of the plugin. I have been using SlimStats for about 2 months now and the option has never worked.
The same happens if I disable the column and click on “stats” in the posts screen.
I installed the plugin to replace StatPress since it was badly in need of improvement. I love SlimStats…it’s just this is the only feature I have tried that doesn’t work.
It shows “0” on every post…meanwhile some posts are getting thousands of hits.
Facebook icon doesn’t display for me either. Neither foes Pinterest even though ever post has a thumbnail. Only Google and Twitter displays.
I added to wp_config: define (‘WPLANG’, ‘en_US’);
Used to be: define (‘WPLANG’, ”);That didn’t make a difference.

In reply to: [Social] Social messing up comments sectionIf you use standard theme output, you lose the ability for them to login with their FB account though. I do that and I get wordpress’ general comment fields. Nothing on alternative login like fb.
Then I switch is back to socials and I get it but it forces a white background (when the bg of the rest of my blog is black) on the comment table(s) and all the text of the comments are white so you can’t read the comments.
It would be useful if you could edit the background of that section and the text colors.

In reply to: [Network Publisher] [Plugin: Network Publisher] Shady "SCAMMY" PluginI have tried both this one and the Social Discussions or whatever plugin that for the most part looks the same. Both of them installed seperatly or even together state at the end of each post that the data was sent successfully. However, NOTHING is posted to the list of social sites in your network. Nothing ever happens. I was really hoping this would be my solution to replace what ping.fm used to be but instead it’s a total fail (and a fail that wasted a LOT of my time). Life is short, so I hate wasted time.
And I am not paying for it just to make it work like it should be working.
