Thank you but I have fulfilled the need with WP Simple Paypal Shopping cart.
Nevermind. This plugin results in white screens everywher. I’m going to give up using it.
With that last plugin update it worked.
Of course, now when I add a new page to the site, it goes to a white screen when I submit it. It also happened when I chose to delete a page. Both actions take place but I have to hit back on the browser and then click refresh or something to see the changes.
This doesn’t happen if I disable the plugin.

In reply to: How to add an "if" statement to this? That works, thank you. I’ll use the modified version of mine in case I have multiple pages in the future where I’d like to hide the page title from showing there. I’m a big fan of leaving room for change ??

In reply to: How to add an "if" statement to this?Nope, that just messes the page up.

In reply to: How to add an "if" statement to this?Never mind ^^ I got it with:
<h1 id=”post-<?php the_ID(); ?>”><?php $pagetitle = the_title(”,”,0); if ($pagetitle != “Home” ) {the_title();} ?></h1>
I don’t suck after all ^_^ (well…not badly at least)

In reply to: Claims there is an update available but nothing thereI have tried no plugins and works my way back up. One of the first things I thought up. This doesn’t seem to be a theme-specific since it’s a custom theme so there are no remote updates. I am guessing it might be something in sql causing it but I haven’t been able to find anything.

In reply to: [HelloTXT] [Plugin: HelloTXT] Not working currentlyAn update. This doesn’t appear to work at all. I have set it up as needed and nothing is posted at Hellotxt. I have used the one posted at HelloTxt’s site (where you obtain a user-key) and it doesn’t work either. So it looks to be something HelloTxt has updated on their end maybe? Until a working copy is made, this plugin does not work.

In reply to: [HelloTXT] [Plugin: HelloTXT] Not working currentlyUpdate. The instructions have simply changed it seems. It looks like you have to go to your hellotxt settings, to the right click on applications, find the plugin and click on it, and there is a small link to the left somewhere that says “enable”. You click on that and it gives you a userkey!
I will test the plugin out and if it works, you will see my full review.

In reply to: Twitter Tools not updatingAN update on my end. I too am experiencing that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t know if it’s keywords causing it or what but I am going to take a similar stab and say its Twitter that changed something. All I know is the majority of “chance” isn’t in my favor as out of the last 10 or so posts…only one made it through to Twitter.

In reply to: Twitter Tools not updatingSame here…the tools have ceased their operation on our end.

In reply to: WordPress Update Auto Login vs Having to Manually EnterOk. I will give up on the idea that this is possible then else someone would have jumped on it by now. Too bad, it sounded like such an easy solution. Thanks.

In reply to: WordPress Update Auto Login vs Having to Manually EnterOk, but there has to be a way to modify something somewheres. WordPress gaints its information based on the information stored in the sql tables. So there has to be values I can manually add somewhere to store such information.

In reply to: WordPress Update Auto Login vs Having to Manually Enteridk. It sounds like there is more to it than that. Else it should error saying auto ftp not working, you will need to enter your ftp information manually. I mean, what’s the difference between it doing it and me entering the information and telling it to do it. Sounds like in the end it would use the same method of operation to get the job done. Its just starting it…feels more like an sql settings somewhere or something I can mod on the server. If it is a server setting..then I would need to know what it is so that I can have it changed.
I am still thinking its a difference between how Fantastico and SimpleScripts installs the blogs.

In reply to: Plugin to summarize posts on index?Great! Option two worked perfectly. Its too bad it cuts out images and html when displaying an excerpt but I guess that’s a sacrifice im willing to make. The front index looks much cleaner now that you can immediately see more than one most recent post vs seeing one large post pushing the previous ones way below. Thanks!
